Call Transcription & AI Summary

How to enable call transcription on BubblyPhone. Record your international calls, get full text transcripts, and AI-powered summaries automatically.

BubblyPhone can transcribe your calls into written text and generate an AI summary of the conversation. This is useful for keeping records of important calls, reviewing what was discussed, or sharing notes with others.

What It Is

When transcription is enabled, your call audio is recorded and, after the call ends, converted into a full written transcript. On top of the transcript, you also receive an AI-generated summary that highlights the key points of the conversation. Both are available in your Call History.

How to Enable It

Transcription is opt-in on a per-call basis. Before placing a call:

1. Go to the Dialer page.
2. Find the "Transcribe Call" toggle.
3. Switch it to ON.
4. Enter the number and press Call Now as usual.

If the toggle is off (the default), the call is not recorded and no transcript is generated.

Cost

Transcription costs $0.01 per minute, charged on top of the normal call rate for that destination. For example, if you make a 10-minute call to a destination that costs $0.05/min, you would pay $0.50 for the call plus $0.10 for the transcription, totaling $0.60. The transcription cost is shown separately in your call details. See Billing, Credits & Pricing for more on how charges work.

After the Call

Once your call ends, the transcription processing begins automatically. It typically takes 1 to 2 minutes to complete. Once ready, the transcript appears in your Call Historyunder that call's details. You do not need to do anything — just check back after a couple of minutes.

What You Get

• AI Summary — A short paragraph summarizing the key points of the conversation. This gives you a quick overview without reading through the entire transcript.
• Full Transcript — A complete, word-for-word text of the entire conversation. The system detects the language spoken and transcribes accordingly.

Actions

Once the transcript is ready, you can:

• Copy to clipboard — Copies the full transcript text so you can paste it into an email, document, or chat.
• Download as .txt file — Saves the transcript as a plain text file to your device.

Privacy

The transcription is only visible to you in your BubblyPhone account. It is not shared with the other person on the call, and it is not accessible to anyone else. Only you can view, copy, or download your transcripts.
