What makes BubblyPhone different

It runs in a browser, works for anyone in any country, has no subscription, and shows the price before you dial.

Calls run in the browser

Rebtel, Yolla and Viber Out need an app installed before you can call. BubblyPhone works in any modern browser on a laptop or phone, including shared and work computers where you can't install anything.

Anyone can use it, from any country

Personal Google Voice accounts need a US phone number and address, and TextNow serves the US and Canada. BubblyPhone works from any country, and it can give you a US number even if you live elsewhere.

No subscription, and credit doesn't expire

Calling is pay as you go: buy credit from $5 when you need it, with up to 25% bonus on larger top-ups. Rebtel's country-unlimited plans, by contrast, are auto-renewing subscriptions.

A replacement for Skype Credit

Microsoft shut down Skype, including Skype Credit and calling subscriptions, on May 5, 2025. BubblyPhone works the way Skype Credit did: add credit, call any phone number, pay by the minute.

The price is visible before and after every call

The rate for a number appears as you type it, and every call in your history shows what it cost. Calls are billed by the minute from your balance when they end, with no connection fee.

Founder

Vadim builds and runs software products end to end, from writing the code to answering customer support. He started BubblyPhone in October 2025 because calling another country was still expensive for the people who do it most, and most apps hid their prices behind subscriptions or top-ups that expire.

BubblyPhone is founder-run and independent of any phone carrier.

How BubblyPhone works

Sign up, add credit, and dial. Each call costs the per-minute rate shown before you call, taken from your balance when the call ends.

  1. Sign up

    Create an account with your email, Google or Apple, then call from the browser or sign in to the iPhone or Android app.

  2. Add credit

    Top up from $5 by card, or through the App Store in the iPhone app. One balance works everywhere.

  3. Call

    Enter any number, check the rate and press call. The person you call sees an ordinary phone call; they don't need BubblyPhone.

  4. Get help

    The help centre covers billing, call problems and the apps. For anything else, email hello@bubblyphone.com.

Card payments are processed by Stripe, so your card details never reach our servers; in the iPhone app you pay through Apple. The internet part of every call, between your browser or app and our network, is encrypted.
No. You can call from bubblyphone.com in any modern browser on a computer or phone. The iPhone and Android apps are optional and share the same account and balance.
No. BubblyPhone has no free credit; you pay only for the minutes you use. The smallest top-up is $5, which covers up to 250 minutes to the cheapest destinations.
No. Credit stays on your account until you use it. The only exception in our Terms of Service is an account left unused for more than 12 months, which we may close.
BubblyPhone is run by Inhype Live Limited, registered in the United Kingdom. The service works online and can be used from any country.
